  1. Find information about the history of immigration in Norway
The first immigrant who came to Norway, came from neighboring countries and western Europe. People came to Norway for work for hundreds of years ago. Today, the immigrants population make up to 15.6% of the population  in Norway. That includes children who is born in Norway with immigrant parents. The first immigrant flee started around 1950, when the Norwegian economy improved and there was need for more workers. Today there are more than 200 different nations represented here.

  1. Compare Norwegian immigration to the British experience
The immigration in these countries is very similar, but the reasons are different. The reason why Norway got immigrates, is because we needed workers. And the Britain got immigrations through colonization.
The immigrants came from the whole world but mostly from Asia and Africa in Britain and Poland and Sweden in Norway, but Norway has also many immigrants from Asia and Africa. We find the majority of immigrants in the biggest cities, like London and Oslo. 
About 15.6% of the Norwegian population are immigrants but in Britain, the immigrants constitutes only 8% of the British population.
